Dear Friends of the Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market:  Another delightful morning, sunny, not too hot, moderate humidity, a great start to the weekend, see you at the Market.

New Vendor!  Three Part Harmony Blooms – see below.

No plastic – Please bring your own reusable bags for shopping & produce bagging, and reusable containers if you bring compost.

Market Events:

Bike Clinic – Aaron will NOT be at the Bike Clinic this weekend and next!  There may be someone else, or at least there will be pump & tools for DIY.  They are always looking for more people who want to help others with their bike maintenance, stop by and talk to us.

Produce Plus – Eligible customers can pick up Produce Plus checks at participating DC farmers’ markets, and spend those checks on fresh fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and cut herbs with approved market vendors.

Compost – Drop off your veggie kitchen compostables in the bins at the Market table.  https://compostcab.com/  The Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market is looking for some assistance with compost collection on Saturdays.  Mainly with compost bins transportation, so a vehicle, or bike trailer, etc, would be useful.  Helping in other ways with the Market’s compost collection efforts is also appreciated.  MtPFM Compost Commanders can help save the world, one banana peel at time….  Contact: MtPFarmersMarket@gmail.com or stop by the Market.
